McCormick's Sample Response for #2: One value I share with my family is the idea of service. Though my parents, my brother, and I all went to fancy schools, we chose careers that allow us to help others. My mom was a first-grade teacher. My dad was a librarian. My brother is a lawyer who defends people who can't afford their own lawyer. I'm a teacher too.
